I think the more we shine a light on indie/bootstrapped apps, the better. So here we are, a list of my favorite indie/bootstrapped apps:
- Buttondown : a simple and honest tool for sending newsletters.
- Good Enough : a company that makes multiples, apps and tools, focusing on simplicity, no bullshit and a have a bit of product personality.
- Ghost : I don’t use Ghost, but it’s an inspiring non-profit that makes an excellent publishing tool (blog/newsletter) and is committed to journalist/creators and the fediverse.
- Publii : a cool tool for creating static websites, from the comfort of a drag-and-drop app.
- Glass : a place built with love, for photographers.
- Hardcover : a superb replacement for Goodreads, with great design and an active community.
- MyMind : A well-designed tool to collect interesting artifacts from the web, and find them again without the need for organization.
- Lunatask : A great productivity app to organise your work/personal life, with privacy and adaptable to the way you work.
